Chainlink has unlocked continuous access to U.S. equities and ETFs on-chain through its upgraded Data Streams service. The solution delivers cryptographically signed price feeds for stocks and ETFs 24 hours per day during weekdays, addressing a critical gap in decentralized finance.

The $80 trillion U.S. equity market has remained largely siloed from blockchain ecosystems due to limited trading hours and fragmented data. Traditional markets operate on a 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET schedule, while blockchains function continuously. Chainlink's sub-second pricing streams now enable DeFi platforms to support equity-based trading, lending, and derivatives around the clock.

Real-world asset tokenization has gained momentum, yet equity RWAs lag behind other sectors. The new U.S. Equities Streams provide institutional-grade market data across all sessions, including pre-market and after-hours trading. This infrastructure paves the way for sophisticated on-chain products mirroring traditional finance.
